- Preheat skillet over medium heat.
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side-down onto skillet bottom and add one slice of cheese.
- Place second slice butter-side-up on top of cheese to complete the sandwich.
- Grill until lightly browned, flipping frequently, and continue grilling until cheese is melted.
- Repeat for as many sandwiches as desired.
